About Us
We are a small group of furries in the Guelph, Ontario, area. We aim to bring furries together for local events, meet-ups, and other gatherings. Although we are located in Guelph, everyone is welcome to join us.
Why Royal City?
In 1827, the City of Guelph was named to honour the British Royal Family, the Hanoverians. They were descendants from the house of Welf, also known as Guelf or Guelph, pronounced the same. This is why, over a century later, you will see people referring to Guelph as “The Royal City”.

We are entering the final planning stages for a new event in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, scheduled for late September or early October of this year. Before we fully commit to booking the venue, we need to know: Will we see you there?
Here’s some general information:
- Venue — Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum
- Theme — Dancing Through the Decades, a fursuit-friendly 19+ dance. Come enjoy music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s!
- Prizes — Awards for the best-dressed attendee from each decade!
- Ticket Cost — Approximately $50 (we’re trying to keep costs low!)
- Alcohol — Available for purchase
- Food/Snacks — Available for purchase
- Time — Doors open at 6:30 PM, the dance kicks off at 8:00 PM, and ends at 11:30 PM. Doors close at midnight.

We are proud to announce we have partnered with Furocity Events! They are a not for profit A/V solutions company based out of Niagara Ontario. They have provided professional lighting set ups for many events, including the Furnal Equinox dead dog dances!
FAQ
Is there an age requirement?
Yes – this is a 19+ event. Please present a government-issued photo ID when you enter to have your ticket scanned.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
The venue does not permit smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes or cannabis. Per Ontario law, you must be at least 9 metres from any entrance/exit to the venue if you wish to smoke or vape.
Are drinks included?
No. There will be a cash bar (debit & credit are also accepted) for alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages. Water will be available free of charge.
Can I bring outside food?
Unfortunately, no. However, there are many nearby restaurants if you want to grab a quick bite to eat.
Where can I get changed if I bring my fursuit?
There is a large public bathroom for changing. We are looking into other portable change room options.
Can I wear kink/fetish gear?
Although this is a 19+ event, attendees must be fully clothed while in the venue. Face coverings (i.e., Pup hoods) are okay, as well as any accessories you wish to wear overtop of clothing/fursuits.
When does everything start?
Our schedule is as follows:
6:30 PM – Doors open
8:00 PM – Dance starts
11:30 PM – Dance ends
Midnight – Venue closes
Where can I store my bags/luggage during the event?
There is a coat check area for quick pickup and dropoff, and if needed, we have access to an additional room for storage and cooling off. (Please understand we cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen items. Please treat everyone’s property with respect.)
I'm coming from out of town. Is there any accommodation available?
Yes! There are a few hotels nearby.
When will tickets be available for purchase?
Stay updated by following our Telegram Announcement channel for notifications on when tickets will become available.
I bought a ticket, but now I can't come. Can I get a refund?
We cannot offer refunds due to our payment arrangements with the venue. If you are unable to come, please offer your ticket to someone who can. We may be able to offer refunds for future events
I'm not coming, but I want to see more events like this. How can I support you?
